thank u for being patient with me!!!! its hard getting back into the swing of things, thank you for my friends for helping me figure this page out.

first of all i wanna thank everyone for the support since last page <3 i wasn't really expecting anything as its been so long, and I'm doing clockwork mainly for myself, but it really was a nice surprise. i'm glad i can still bring some joy with these weird assholes.

so the plan is. i will simply update when possible, so it will be inconsistent for a while. hopefully in a good way? i'm just trying to remember how to draw and how comics work. update notifs will be posted on bluesky and tumblr (and twitter ugh), so follow me there if you wanna know when a new page is up.

also the site pages have been updated (story/cast/links mainly) to be clearer and more focused on the actual plot, so go check those out too if you want!

And that's chapter 3 over! Only took uhhh 2 and a half years! Boy depression is a bitch!

I sure have been dealing with a lot the past couple of years, but I always used Clockwork as a point on the horizon to keep heading toward, even when I didn't want to, or felt like I couldn't possibly keep going. I definitely didn't expect this chapter to take so long. In a way, it's also closing a chapter of my life - a rough and dark time where I kept dragging myself forward and hoping for the best. It also serves as proof that I can keep overcoming these things and do what I want, if I want it enough. 

It will be a while until chapter 4 - I'm not going into it unprepared. I work on this alone, after all! Until then, I hope you will continue to support me and Clockwork! Thank you very much for reading!

This chapter was definitely the roughest thanks to. MANY YEARS OF DEPRESSION getting in the way, but I'm glad we're almost done! And so I will throw another early update to make up for all that lost time! Never say I don't spoil you guys when my head is on straight!

OH NO COG'S FORMING A PLAN .........

Okay I've rewritten this a billion times because something's up with publishing this page, so we're going with the short version.

If you follow my Twitter (spoiler alert, go follow my twitter), you know what's been going on. If you don't, I'm just going to give you the cliffnotes because I'm exhausted from talking about it for the last 2 months or so.

At the beginning of May, I lost my older brother to suicide. Two days after, I lost the cat I've grown up alongside. It's been rough, and it's still rough. But updating a page after being in a numb, ghost-like daze for the longest time feels like an achievement.

So, I appreciate the support - but if I can ask one thing of my readers, it's please talk about the page in the comments. I've heard enough about losing loved ones to last a lifetime at this point, and I just kind of want to hear some nice words about Clockwork. It's been destroying me inside to not be able to work on it, and I'm just glad I could update once again. 

Chapter 3 is wrapping up soon, and chapter 4 is on it's way. I hope you guys are excited!

Gaz is back and he's harrassing MORE people, but that is kind of his thing, so we'll let him get on with it!

Aughhh it's been a rough week, I've been so ill. I don't even have words in my brain right now. I'm like this close to coughing up something I ate 5 years ago. So I guess I'll just ramble a little.

I'm glad this scene is done, it was like 7 pages? That's like almost a third of the whole chapter so far! There's only 2 scenes left in chapter 3, and then we'll move onto chapter 4 after a hiatus so I can actually y'know, storyboard it. Being your own writer/storyboarder/lineartist/flat colours/toucher-upper(???) is hard work! Let us hope I am good at at least one of those things. 

I do worry about the future of Clockwork. All of those things are very hard work by myself and I only ever seem to get more and more ill. But I will continue to work hard, because its the story I love, and it's the story I want to tell. I hope chapter 4 will be a lot smoother when all is said and done.
